Ann Brien Myotherapy & Oncology Massage

www.annbrienmyotherapy.com

Objective:

Ann Brien Myotherapy aimed to expand its range of services by introducing Oncology Massage, alongside its existing Myotherapy and Remedial Massage offerings. The client envisioned a website that conveys a warm and welcoming atmosphere, helping visitors feel relaxed and cared for. She requested a soothing colour palette, specifically sage and terracotta, and expressed interest in using imagery of the Banksia flower, including a line drawing. A key focus for Rachel ( the web designer ) was on selecting appropriate heading fonts to complement the overall design. The client opted to maintain a text-based logo for now.

Outcomes:

Squarespace Website:

Custom Squarespace website design with a two-page layout which features squarespace scheduling booking system.
The sage accents of the buttons and the toned down peach colour of the water colour background invites the viewer with a feeling of warmness. The font was carefully chosen and licensed, the curves of the font display how soft and gently Ann is at her job. The integration of Banksia flower imagery, including line drawings, as a central design element across the 2 pages. The curves of the images compliments the design choice of the font. Text-based logo, as per client preference, for a minimalist yet professional look.

  • Fonts: Carefully selected heading fonts to complement the warm and relaxing design.

  • Logo: Retained a text-based logo in line with the client’s current preference for simplicity.

I first worked with Rachel when she moved my existing, very ordinary, website from Wix to Squarespace ahead of her creating a whole new website for me. I had no idea what I wanted except for a couple of elements and with that limited help she created a new website I love. Rachel is very easy to work with, professional but also very understanding that some of us sole traders don’t know what we are doing with websites. I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel.
